Current field research at Aphrodisias is focused on four major projects: anastylosis in the Sebasteion and Basilica; conservation of marble sculpture; excavation in the House of Kybele, North Temenos House, and Tetrapylon Street; and continuing research and restoration in the Urban Park (Mica and Ahmet Ertegün South Agora Project). The projects are parts of a larger plans (1) to connect Sebasteion, Street, and Urban Park, and make the major monuments of the site more accessible, and (2) to research ancient housing and living at Aphrodisias.
